As we have shared in our previous post, we (team under Rosette Designs & Co) did up a wedding in Raffles House, Fort Canning Park recently. The weather is not really friendly that day, but before the wedding starts the sky cleared up and the couple have the solemnisation outdoor.
The bride & groom are in their early twenties, so we proposed something fun for them! Please stay tune for the inspiration behind this wedding.
Congrats to the loveliest bride & groom, Gero & Jen. Now, let me give you a virtual tour of their wedding venue.
This way to the Colorful Nuptial of Jen & Gero
The first thing you see are the yellow, pink and blue balloons, representing their color theme.
When you reach the top, this pretty letterbox will nudge you charmingly for your angbaos (haha) and please take the wooden fans to cool yourself. It is a well-thought wedding favor.
Welcome to the Solemnisation area. We decorated the background tree with paper lanterns. If you saw our previous post about the challenge in decorating this low tree, we have conquered it! I love how the lanterns flow like floating giant bubbles.
We know about Mr Right, how about Mrs Always Right! This cheeky punctuation was requested by the bride. We were happy to oblige, who doesn’t know this point?
You can pick one of the props and pose in front of our handmade photo backdrop which is hanged in between two palm trees. We did the couple’s icon as giant lollipops
Just move slightly beside the props table, you can write some wishes or advices for the couple, of course after you take pictures with the available polaroid on the table.

We always love our baby’s breath, and Gero is a big fan of them, so we happily did the solemnisation aisle, corsage and the bouquet using them. Roll over, Rose! Here comes the real charmer! Especially when it pairs with this cheerful daisy and burlap twine. The bride loves it so much! We did too!
Centerpiece for the guest tables
Next stop is the sunshine Dessert Bar! It’s a feast for the eye and certainly for the taste. We partner with Twelve Cupcake for most of our cupcakes because we simply love them.
There you have it! Lovely wedding for lovely couple! Congrats Jen & Gero!
