Two different characters were destined to meet on one fateful day and 5 years later got together. He is a smart-comprehensive-detailed-organised-leftbrained engineer, and she is a creative-spontaneous-moodoriented-artistic designer. Together they got hitched on June 2010. This blog documented their journey and preparation to the long-awaited day. Now, it has become the place for couples to share their beautiful wedding!
He says: I am Winston, a Singaporean chap whose working profession is an engineer. I am a typical geek who likes gaming, comics and movies. I love God and serves actively in my church. Other than that, I love to coordinate, emcee and meet people in weddings, just to immerse myself in the wonderfully positive atmosphere of martial bliss.
She says: Hellen, a true Pisces born in year of Water Pig, God-loving and serves in church together with Winston. A designer by day, a dreamer every day. She is an award-winning motion designer with MTV Asia for 4 years, a graphic designer & now a wedding designer.
Born in Jakarta, Indonesia, she is exposed to the extreme different side of life of luxury and poverty. She has been living in Singapore for 11 years and counting, but she is still a true Indonesian-Chinese by heart *business blood runs strong in us*.
Typical sanguine, who is always happy, always messy, emotion-mood-oriented *Pisces tendency*. Driven by passion in everything she does, together with Winston she prepared her wedding day with full enthusiasm.
Because of her passion of wedding design, Hellen and her wedding planner partner decided to start a wedding design and planning company, Diary & Design Wedding. Winston joined them the following year to be one of the wedding coordinator. Now it’s time to spread their wings wider and Hellen will continue to create gorgeous weddings under Rosette Designs & Co.
